Know the dose was opened. Without asking.
Gideon One is a pocket-sized aluminium pill case with fourteen lids. Each time a dose is opened, the people who care get a quiet message. Nobody gets nagged.
Founding families get first access and launch pricing.
Fill it once a week. Then forget about it.
Morning and evening, seven days, fourteen lids. Each lid knows when it's opened, so Gideon One knows which dose it was and when.
Fill on Sunday
Up to three tablets in each compartment. Every lid clicks shut and stays shut in a pocket or a bag.
Open as normal
A soft amber light glows at dose time. Open the lid, take the dose, close it. No app to fiddle with, no buttons.
Family gets a quiet text
The people you choose get a short message: opened, or not opened yet. They don't need to install anything.
Peace of mind, in plain words.
- ✓
Opened
The right lid was opened, with the time it happened.
- ✓
Confirmed
An optional tap in the app to say "taken", for people who want to.
- !
Not opened yet
The dose time has passed and that lid is still shut. A gentle heads-up, not an alarm.
- ?
Can't confirm
The case is out of range, so it can't tell. We'll say so honestly instead of guessing.
Gideon One reports when a compartment is opened. It can't see whether medication is swallowed, so we never tell anyone it was taken unless the user says so.
Something you'd carry even if you didn't have to.
Most pill boxes look medical. Gideon One looks like good everyday kit, so it actually gets carried.
Machined aluminium
Cut from solid and hard-anodised, built to take knocks in a pocket or a pack.
Glasses-case small
A full week of morning and evening doses in something you can slip into a jacket.
Fourteen, individually
Each dose has its own lid, so a Tuesday dose opened on Wednesday shows up as late.
Weeks per charge
USB-C charging. The case keeps a log even when the phone isn't nearby, then syncs.
"My son Marcus has epilepsy, and takes his medication twice a day, every day. He's grown up now, living his own life a couple of hours up the road, and the last thing he wants is his dad texting 'did you take it?' But with epilepsy a missed dose really matters, and I'd find myself wondering. I built Gideon One so Marcus can get on with his day, and I can quietly know he's okay. He'll be the first person to carry one."Jonathan Woods, founder and dad. Sydney.
